Course Description

Concepts and principles of leadership, management, policy, and politics in delivering patient care within health care systems and the implications related to nursing practice. Relationships between policies and politics in the health field and the impact on patient care and access to healthcare.Prerequisite: Generic BSN students: C or better in NURS 411, NURS 422, NURS 427, and NURS 431; RN-BSN students: C or better in NURS 250 .Corequisite: NURS 435 for Generic BSN students only.FS: 09/10/2025.
