Course Description

This course offers valuable insights into hormonal changes that nearly all female patients will experience over the life span along with appropriate clinical utilization of drug therapy in this population. This course covers hormonal physiology, clinical presentations of imbalance, and therapeutic management approaches during key hormonal transitions. The main focus on this course will be related to peri-menopause, menopause, and post-menopause but discussion of issues impacting younger women with hormonal imbalance will be covered.Prerequisite: P2 or P3 Standing.
