Summer Workshops*
Rising 9^th-12^th grade

Overnight accommodations will be available for students who do not live in the Columbia area. Upper-class residential students will be asked to check in on the Sunday before the first day of the workshop. Rising 9^th grade residential students and all commuters will check in on Monday.

This partnership between educators and businesses provides gifted minority students with cultural and academic activities and role models in engineering and computer science. Through a series of technical workshops, students are exposed to the sciences, which helps enhance their academic skills. Rising high-school freshmen spend four days and three nights on the USC campus, and sophomores, juniors, and seniors spend six days and five nights on campus. Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing personnel assist with the workshops.

Carolina Master Scholars

The Carolina Master Scholars Adventure Series is a challenging, pre-university summer program for academically talented rising 6th through 12th graders. Students who successfully complete three or more Adventure Series courses earn the designation as Carolina Master Scholars.

Camps hosted at the Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing include:

• Adventures in Telepresence Park Ride via Augmented Reality
• Adventures in Vex (Advanced and Beginner)
• Adventures in Vex Robotics
