Biography
With more than 20 years’ experience in medicine, Whitney Wilson has built a career centered on compassionate care, patient education and continuous improvement in healthcare. As a licensed practical nurse and graduate of Williamsburg Technical College, she has served in a variety of roles, including medical assistant, billing specialist, certified insulin pump trainer and lead medical assistant in both endocrinology and nephrology practices.
Wilson’s experience spans multiple specialties including internal medicine, endocrinology, nephrology, family medicine and radiology, providing her with a well-rounded perspective on patient care. She has also led chronic care management programs, advocating for and helping patients better navigate their health journeys and improve outcomes.
Wilson serves as the medical clinic supervisor for the USC Brain Health Network, where she focuses on enhancing workflows and improving efficiencies while supporting patients, caregivers and staff. Helping people and educating others about healthcare has always been at the heart of her work.
Outside of her professional life, Wilson cherishes time with her family. She also enjoys spending time at the beach, cheering on Gamecock football, supporting her all-star nieces in softball and volunteering with youth at her church.
