Welcome back, Gamecock! Whether you are preparing to apply to professional or graduate school or continuing to strengthen your application, this page provides the resources and support you need for your next step. 

Recent Graduate Status

Recent USC Columbia graduates retain their student status for one year after graduation and will continue to receive free services, which include:

  • Access to Handshake, the Career Center's internet-based resource for employment opportunities, resume referrals, on-campus interviewing, other career-related Career Center events and setting up appointments with their designated college or school career coaches
  • Web-based career resources, such as Big Interview which can strengthen interview skills 

Alumni (Non-Recent Graduates)

USC Columbia alumni who graduated more than one year ago and are interested in pursuing law or health professional schools are encouraged to contact our office for more information about available advising resources and support.
