Eco Ambassadors Program

A new initiative inviting everyone to be part of improving campus sustainability. Whether you are curious or committed, attending our events provides you with opportunities to learn more about climate action and advocacy.

Eco Ambassador is a distinction earned by individuals who complete the following 5 types of sustainability engagements within the year. In addition to being recognized on our website, Eco Ambassadors receive an elite bandana, laptop sticker, email signature, and certificate.

Become an Eco Ambassador

1. Attend a 101 Workshop

Learn how our campus and city are making strides to be more sustainable, and how you play a part! Participate in either a Sustainability 101 or Environmental Justice 101 workshop.

2. Volunteer in the Garden

With five weekly shifts to choose from, it’s easy to serve in the Sustainable Carolina garden. Produce grown in the garden is given to the campus food pantry! Learn more and schedule your volunteering.

3. Discussion Workshop

Learn a bit about a sustainability topic as you make friends with others who care about the environment. Workshops include movie nights, book clubs, & PowerPoint parties!

4. Hands On Workshop

Participate in a Do-It-Yourself workshop where you learn to up-cycle an item. Some workshops include learning how to crochet, make oat milk, design your own perfume, etc.

5. Community Service

Get to know the needs of your community by lending a hand. Some of our service  events include sorting food/clothing donations and litter pickups.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
