Interpersonal Violence Prevention & Support

The university strives to prevent interpersonal violence, which is any intentional use of physical force, power, or a violent act by a person or persons against another individual. Sexual assault and other forms of interpersonal violence are never the survivor's fault and will not be tolerated at the University of South Carolina. If you or someone you know has been impacted by interpersonal violence in any way, we encourage you to seek help from the resources available to you.
