The School Behavioral Health Team offers several ways for students to gain research experience. PSYC 498 provides course credit for supervised research experience in a faculty research lab. PSYC 598 is individual research that requires a supervised project with a significant original contribution and a written product and/or oral presentation. Students may also participate as volunteers when project needs and available placements allow.

Student activities vary throughout the lifecycle of projects and may include data collection, data entry, data quality checks, literature reviews, development of materials for external partners, and support for the annual Southeastern School Behavioral Health Conference.
