Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
The Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) program prepares you to provide direct patient management in acute and complex care settings, skills that are in high demand with rising patient acuity and a growing elderly population.
Family Nurse Practitioner
The primary care Family Nurse Practitioner program prepares you to provide primary health care across the patient lifespan.
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program prepares you to provide psychiatric mental health services to patients across their lifespan in various settings.
Healthcare Leadership
The Healthcare Leadership program prepares you to manage the delivery of nursing and health care services across diverse health care settings.
Nursing Education
The Nursing Education program prepares you to function as an academic or clinical nurse educator across various program levels and settings.
Nursing Informatics
The Nursing Informatics program prepares you to identify and manage health care data to support clinicians and patients in decision making and improve health outcomes.
Nurse-Midwifery
The Nurse-Midwifery (NM) program prepares you to provide reproductive health and primary care for people throughout their lifespans, with a special emphasis on pregnancy, childbirth and gynecologic health.
MSN program costs depend on several factors. The estimated total cost to be paid via
the tuition and fee bill is noted above.*
Additional costs associated with this program will be paid out of pocket. Additional tuition and fee information is on the Bursar's Office Tuition and Fees website. Financial aid is available. Complete the FAFSA form on the university’s Financial Aid website to determine your eligibility. The College of Nursing also offers general scholarships.
*Estimated costs are for new students who first enroll in the 2025-26 academic year and are subject to change.
- Complete the approved program of study
- Complete a three-hour applied research course (NURS 791) or a six-hour thesis course (NURS 799)
- Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, with grades of at least 3.0 in all program of study courses and all 700-level courses
- Complete the program within 14 semesters (~4.5 years)
- Pass the MSN Comprehensive Assessment
- Complete clinical hours
