Family Weekend Registration
Family Weekend 2025 will be here before you can say, "Go Gamecocks!" Spend an unforgettable weekend with your Carolina family, Sept. 11-13, and enjoy fellowship, football and so much more!
Family Weekend is the perfect way to get to know the Carolina community better. While you're in town, spend time learning all that our thriving hometown — Columbia, South Carolina — has to offer, visit our historic USC campus and meet fellow family members and students.
Traditionally, this event includes educational sessions and receptions hosted primarily
throughout Friday, and we finish the day at our Rock the Roost event hosted at our
Wellness and Fitness Center. On Saturday, we host a spectacular football tailgate
prior to watching the Gamecocks play! Stay tuned for details for the 2025 event.
Make Plans Now
While we are still working on our 2025 plans, browse the full schedule from 2024. Please note that there are many events on this schedule that do not require the Family Weekend wristband.
Our three signature events do require registration for Family Weekend. These events help make your Family Weekend complete! We encourage you to check out the pictures on our Parent and Family Facebook page to get a glimpse of what fun you can experience.
- President Meet and Greet – Friday afternoon
- Rock the Roost – Friday evening
- Family Tailgate Party – Saturday (2.5 hours prior to kick-off)
In addition to the three signature events, families will have the opportunity to add
on a ticket for the South Carolina vs. Vanderbilt football game during registration.
