Research Focus
My research explores the magnetic universe through observations, theory, simulations,
and instrumentation. I study how galaxies evolve and form stars by mapping cosmic
magnetic fields. These field geometries act as time capsules, revealing the history
of galaxies, much like dye reveals hidden patterns in fluid dynamics.
I am recruiting undergraduate and graduate students to join our DragonflyPol team to work on diverse science goals spanning instrumentation, observations, and theory. My team collaborates with several major observatories and surveys, including the
Square Kilometre Array Observatory, Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder,
Galactic Magnetoionic Medium Survey, James Clerk Maxwell Telescope, Fred Young Submillimeter
Telescope, and others.
